[PLEASE NOTE PARTICIPATION IS NOW CLOSED. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO EXPLORE OUR STORY-WRITING TOOL, BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT NO DATA OR CONTRIBUTIONS WILL BE RECORDED]
Hello and welcome to this experiment in Configuring ethical AI in healthcare where we will explore and reflect on the stories that figure and shape ethical AI in healthcare.
By taking part, we would like to invite you to add your own short story/stories on ethical AI in healthcare which will reflect your personal and professional experiences and views in a playful and creative way. Your insights will help us understand more about (a) the messiness and complexity of the stories that shape ethical AI, and (b) the work that is needed to imagine and create alternative ones.
Don’t worry, no previous writing experience is required, there are no right or wrong answers, and you will be prompted by a short series of playful guidances to help you along. We don’t expect this to take more than 10 minutes of your time. Of course, you are free to spend as much time on it as you wish, and we would be more than happy if you decided to have more than one goes!
Please note that each participant's submission will have to be 'approved' before the system gets 'unlocked' and allows the next submission to be entered. This helps us avoid any spam and 'unwelcome' interference. So, if you are unable to submit your entry, please leave it for a few minutes or come back to it at another convenient time, to give us the opportunity to 'unlock' the system.
Otherwise, just follow the instructions and have fun!
Towards the end of this process, I will ask your name and email address. This is optional but very useful for us. It will be used to both share the outcomes of the research at a later date but also enable any follow-ups for future research. Also, if you choose to, you will have the option to leave any further comments on the process. Please note that at the end of this collective exercise, your individual contributions will be collated into bigger stories and used for Phase 2 of this workshop (see below). These fictional stories might also appear on the website and project report.
By taking part, you are consenting to participate in this research.
Finally, this is Phase 1 of this creative experiment. Here you can find out more about Phase 2 (This has now taken place), about the overall project and how we will keep your personal information private and secure.
