From 1999 to 2002, I was the co-founder and poster designer of the Informatics Department Cinema Group. I recently found some old files from the first posters I ever designed for the cinema group and, actually, some of my first design works ever. Some of them date back to 1999 and even though they might show little interest as design works per se, they are of significant sentimental value for me. Some of these works (perhaps the best ones) are presented below. I still remember how interesting it was to work with images and text in such a creative way for the first time in my life, and it was this experience that made me want to become a designer (of some sort). Perhaps the most important thing of all was the size and color constraints (all posters had to be printed in A3 paper and in B&W) that guided every design decision, leading to quite interesting results (I might add in retrospect).
